There are two schools within the Melbreak Communities area – Lorton Primary School in High Lorton and Eaglesfield Paddle C.E. V.A. Primary School, which is (just) within the Blindbothel Parish. The nearest secondary school is Cockermouth Comprehensive School.
Don’t forget that learning never stops and there is a very active branch of U3A (University of the Third Age) in Cockermouth, see website here.
